From September 9, I'll be cycling towards Istanbul.
Every day of the trip, I'll paint a watercolour, a small, daily practice of looking closely and slowing down.
Last year's book was about scratching, raw, dark, stripped back. This year I'm looking for something different: layering. Building up colour and story, one wash at a time, just like the trip itself builds up day by day :)))
The book takes the shape of postcards, 30 of them (or how many days it will take me), one for each day. On the front, the drawing. On the back, a message or a little story: to a friend, to myself, or to someone I haven't met yet.
So if you have the book you follow the story by my stories to my friends/family or something I want to say to myself.
For me, this trip is about the challenge of getting there, my reseach to layers for my future paintings and about living structured and focused with one goal ahead.
Pre-order the book now and be among the first to receive it, the book will launch in Spring 2027.
